4th of July Cupcakes
It's not too late to slave over a hot stove amidst 92 degree weather while all your friends are at the lake, just in time to bake those 4th of July cupcakes for the neighborhood BBQ.
First of all you're going to need some ingredients:
- 1 box of red velvet cake mix
- 3 eggs
- two containers of frosting
- one cup of water
- 1/3 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
- the freshly beating heart of uncle sam
- one package of blueberries
First, pre-heat your oven to 350*
Next, add box of cake mix, eggs, water, and oil to large mixing bowl and blend on low for thirty seconds and then on medium for two minutes.
Add batter to super fancy silver cupcake liners. (These can be bought at Wal Mart).
Bake for 16-19 minutes while humming the national anthem.
Remove from oven with super festive owl pot holder.
Test with metal thing (or toothpick) to make sure they're cooked all the way. If the metal thing comes out with batter on it, they're not done - commence baking and humming the national anthem for a few more minutes.
Let cool for two hours while you drive to South Carolina to pick up fireworks real quick.
Decorate with frosting using frosting piping bag and 1M size tip (also) purchased at Wal-Mart. Top with organic blueberries... et viola!
I'd like to end this blog by quoting Harry Truman; "America was not built on fear, America was built on courage, an imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand."
Happy Fourth Bitches.
